The 2010 Lovebox Festival

We continue our coverage of this year's best European festivals. Lovebox in London is going down this coming weekend, from the 16-18th of July, and there are plenty of reasons why you should check it out.



London's Lovebox Festival is being held for the eight time this weekend. Growing every year, Lovebox is expecting a crowd of 50,000 people and the line-up is better than ever.

Line-up
Apart from headliners Dizzee Rascal, Roxy Music and Grace Jones, skate friendly bands and artists like Cut Copy, Peaches, Midnight Juggernauts, The Nextmen, Yeasayer and Hercules and Love Affair will all be performing. The full impressive line up can be found on the Lovebox website.

More reasons to go:
Lovebox is held in East London's Victoria Park where there is a tiny skatepark. Even better is it that the festival is only a stones throw away from the excellent Mile End skatepark, where you can expect to see some of London's very best shredders tear it up at any day of the week.

Even better is it that it's only £99 for all three days (or £45 for one day and £80 for two if you prefer), that the festival is located within skating distance of all of East London's best spots and that you don't have to camp in some muddy festival site.
